2014年10月17日谷歌Nexus 9预定发售，该机采用的是8.9英寸的IPS液晶显示器，4:3宽高比，分辨率达到QXGA级别的2048×1536像素，表面覆盖Gorilla Glass 3玻璃保护层，支持双击唤醒。在机身内部，首次搭载了Nvidia提供的64为Tegra K1处理器，集成Kepler架构的192核GPU，内置有2GB内存 和 16GB/32GB 存储空间，内存并非之前曝光猜测的3GB。除了Tegra K1处理器外，整体来看Nexus 9并没有特别的看点。倒是让编辑不自然的会想起国内“好机友”小米平板。虽然官方网站显示有金色配色，但似乎第一时间没有推出金色版本机型。(图片来自于www.tinhte.vn越南网站)
